WITH autumn well and truly on its way, you can't go past a pop of colour to brighten the mood. Designers showed plenty of colour on the runways of the London, New York and Paris spring summer 2013 collections, but we get to play with these colours now.
Look for cobalt blues, emerald greens and this wonderful neon yellow.
I particularly love the flats from Florsheim, a brand not commonly known for its fashion-forward footwear. Buy in store or online here. And you're spoilt for choice on other online sites such as Net-A-Porter where I found a fabulous pair of Oscar De La Renta embellished yellow slippers
Wear with black, navy or stone cropped pants. Or if you're feeling adventurous try a pair of luxe gold jacquard pants. For colder days, try skinny or bootleg-style pants that fall to the top of your instep. Alternatively, dress down with a pair of slouchy cargos or your favourite pair of boyfriend jeans. If you're wearing a dress or skirt,  have some fun with patterned opaque tights. But if you can't see yourself in yellow let alone a yellow shoe, add a little sunshine with a citrus top, bag, printed scarf or other accessories.
