CONGRATULATIONS to Stella McCartney (above) for being honoured with an Officer of the British Empire (OBE) for her excellence and service to the fashion industry. (Read the story here).
The 41-year-old mother of four, who collected her award from the Queen, was dressed to impress in a chic fitted pencil skirt and matching peplum jacket.
A walking advertisement for her brand, she was accompanied to Buckingham Palace by her equally stylish and colour-coordinated husband, Alasdhair Willis (below).
She joins fellow designers Dame Vivienne Westwood, Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen, Julien Macdonald and Jimmy Choo founder Tamara Mellon in being awarded an OBE.
