You can't afford to miss this week's best buys
I WAS doing a bit of online shopping – all in the name of research, I must add – this week when I came across some really fantastic buys.
Many international sites including Net-A-Porter, myteresa, StyleBop, Bergdorf Goodman and Farfetch have reduced certain styles by up to 70 per cent. National retailers such as Country Road, Trenery, David Lawrence, David Jones and Myer (among many others, too numerous to mention) are taking a further 20-50 per cent off the already reduced prices. But it is sale time, so everything has to go as retailers and e-tailers make way for new season stock.
“A base of stylish staples makes for a life of chic looks
However, shopping online is a bit of a bottomless pit. It all becomes a bit too much to wade through sometimes. Besides, many of us really don't have the time. So I've done some of the leg work for you and found a few must-have pieces which will definitely carry you through this season, the next and beyond.
Classic pieces in neutral tones of black, white and nude – such as the timeless T-shirt, day-to-night pants, print scarf, basic ballet flats and the all-day everyday bag – are a great investment as they provide a blank canvas on which to create your own look. All these pieces are guaranteed to have a place in every woman's wardrobe. And a base of stylish staples makes for a life of chic looks.
But you'll have to move quickly as bargains this good won't last! Happy shopping!
