Take a trip down a street of dreams with Dolce & Gabbana’s new fragrance commercial

THE new television ad campaign for Dolce & Gabbana’s latest fragrance The One is finally here. And nothing is lost in translation!

Street Of Dreams was filmed and directed by Martin Scorsese and stars  Scarlett Johansson and Matthew McConaughey.

Shot in classic black and white cinematic style – as has the stills campaign shot by Peter Lindbergh – the short film evokes both the grandeur of the golden years of Hollywood and the passion and emotion of Europe’s greatest cinema icons such as Sophia Loren and Marcello Mastroianni. I am immediately reminded of the timeless glamour of Federico Fellini’s 1960 drama-comedy La Dolce Vita.

The One is a modern “floriental” eau de parfum combining contemporary fruit ingredients with the classic palette of white flowers. The fragrance’s top notes of bergamot, mandarin and peach lead into a heart of jasmine and ends with a base of vanilla, amber and musk.
