Three styles from the Jantzen Limited Edition Collection by Danielle Wallace |
REMEMBER the swimwear brand Jantzen? The label with the red diving girl logo?
I do. Not sure if that shows my age, but the trademark “red diving girl” is, perhaps, the world’s most famous swimwear brand and as well as one of the oldest apparel icons in corporate history.
Jantzen was the suit that changed bathing to swimming and is best associated with Hollywood glamour. Advertising campaigns featuring Marilyn Monroe, Esther Williams, Elizabeth Taylor and Farrah Fawcett are legendary. In recent years, icons such as Princess Diana and Carolyn Murphy have also lent their faces – and bodies – to the brand.

So to celebrate the company’s 100th anniversary, Australia’s “tie queen” Danielle Wallace, has partnered with the iconic brand to create a limited edition collection.
Wallace left Sydney more than 10 years ago for New York and Lake Como, but it seems that you can’t tie a good woman down! (Sorry, couldn’t help myself!). She’s back and and taking the plunge into swimwear.
The Jantzen Limited Edition collection by Danielle Wallace is available exclusively through David Jones. So take the plunge and dive right in!
